Students should enjoy but be safe

As football season approaches, it's time to review some safety tips for good health and such.

  • Ensure that as a player, coach, cheerleader, or band member, you warm up before taking the field.
  • Drink plenty of fluids to hydrate your body. The heat can be a problem and you won't know it until it's too late.
  • Make sure you have a companion at practices or walking to games. Safety is primary.
  • Contact your parents when you head home from practice or a game.
  • Please don't talk to strangers!
  • Help your fellow man. Really!
